About Us
We want to help people be better connected
Did you know that 22 percent of the UK population do not have the necessary skills to use technology for everyday life? Our mission is to bridge that gap, to help support some of those people who are digitally excluded to be digitally included.
How can we help?
We can supply donated equipment and data to get you online
We have repurposed donated IT equipment that other people no-longer need. It is still fully serviceable, has been reset back to a clean state and is ready to be used.
We can help you with:
- Learn how to use new device
- Support to sign up to NHS App and on-line support services
- Help with on-line forms
- Internet safety
- On-line banking/shopping

Who do you help?
Digital Share will be focusing on individuals in West Essex who are experiencing mental ill health, social disadvantage and from ethnic communities( BAME)
What devices do you accept?
We would be pleased to receive laptops, tablets, smart phones and other items that can enable people to get online.
Who can be a Digital Buddy?
Anyone with some knowledge of using the internet & IT, and the willingness and patience to share that knowledge. We can match you with someone near you who would like some support. Additional training is provided.
What does it cost?
There are no charges for digital share equipment or data. We have donated kit to share, and have data vouchers to help you get online for up to six months.
Can I donate money instead?
We are not yet accepting monetary donations, but are working to make this option available.
What will you do with my information?
All information received is held and processed in accordance with our privacy policy and data protection regulations. We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
